Nursery

The nursery offers an outstanding selection of plants suited to both the exposed and more sheltered garden, including trees, shrubs, ornamental grasses and restios, alpines and herbaceous plants.

Our PLANT LIST (see right) is a selection of what is available at Cluain na dTor. Our plants change by the month as we propagate and sell. This list is neither complete nor guaranteed to be in stock. At the start of the season, for example, there might be less available, and we are constantly introducing new ranges. You can email us to check availability.

Throughout the gardens you will see many rare and unusual plants growing. We endeavour to propagate from these in small numbers so that they may be purchased from the plant sales area. Many of these varieties are difficult or slow to increase, hence their rarity. So if you see a plant growing in the garden that you would like, do ask, we may have some tucked away for you to purchase as a souvenir of your time spent here.
